The Evolution of Lean

Here's an interesting slides from Mike Rother - one of the most prominent experts in Toyota Way.

This is probably the missing recipe for a successful lean initiatives, and this is what most companies have missed during the adoption of the concept. Note that learning, coaching, and reflecting are the emphasis here. You can find the complete framework of Rother's Toyota Kata in his book.

It is also interesting to find that this material is developed in 2010, over a decade after the first popularization of the Lean concept. Never stops learning.
